Analysis of phenolic compounds in black walnut (Juglans nigra L.) fruit extract using high-performance liquid chromatography

Black walnut (Juglans nigra L.), which belongs to the Nut family (Juglandaceae), is a valuable raw material for production of phytopreparations. The extract from fruits Juglans L. has immunomodulating and antioxidant properties, primarily due presence large amount phenolic compounds in plant. But phytochemical composition pharmacological properties have not been sufficiently studied.
 aim our work was study optimal conditions extraction fruits, followed by identification its quantitative qualitative composition.
 main criterion evaluating content compounds, determined spectrophotometrically Folin–Chocalteu method. analysis polyphenolic carried out method high performance liquid chromatography.
 On basis experimental studies, extracting maceration were selected. According results comparative analysis, it shown that maximum advisable use 70% water-ethanol mixture as an extractant with solvent ratio 1:9. high-performance chromatography showed total 2 327.09 μg/ml. Analysis such plant samples catechins, catechin-like substances, flavonols (rutin, quercetin, myricetin), flavanones (naringin, naringenin) acids. It should be noted, substances chlorogenic acid, caffeic kaempferol, hesperidin, genistein daidzein glycosides, luteolin apigenin detected.
 A nature established. Therefore, this medicinal promising further research, particular, development medicines based on potential anti-inflammatory, analgesic activity.
